For informational purposes, I have calculated a scenario for last summer's election.
What if Bob McEwen and Jean Schmidt had been the only two candidates on the ballot?
According to my calculations, Bob McEwen could have won if two-thirds of Tom Brinkman's votes had gone to Bob, and the other eight candidate's votes split evenly between Bob and Jean Schmidt.
Considering the fact that Tom Brinkman has endorsed Bob McEwen, Bob has a real chance of winning on May 2, 2006.
However, incumbents normally win these challenges.
Disclaimer: I am not making any predictions and am neutral in this race.
