Convention News
The Republican National Convention will be held at the Xcel Energy Center in
Minneapolis, MN, September 1-4, 2008.
Ohio will have a total of 88 Delegates and 85 Alternate Delegates to the
convention.
Thirty-four (34) Delegates and thirty-one (31) Alternate Delegates will be
elected "At-Large."
Three (3) Delegates and three (3) Alternate Delegates will be elected in each of
Ohio's eighteen (18) Congressional Districts.
Petitions for electing Delegates and Alternate Delegates both At-Large and in
congressional districts must be authorized by the presidential candidate.

September 19, 2007
Clermont County Prosecutor Don White addressed the Central Committee regarding
the death of Cecilia Slaby.
He, Woody Breyer, and Senator Tom Niehaus fielded a number of questions from the
crowd.
It appeared to me that most of the audience agreed with, or least understood,
the logic behind Mr. White's decision not to prosecute Brenda Nesselroad-Slaby.
And just for the record, I agree with and support his decision.

Family First PAC held a
Fundraising Dinner Crown Plaza Hotel in Blue Ash.
Phill Kline proved to be a very exciting and dynamic speaker.
Congratulations to State
Representative Tom Brinkman who was granted the highly coveted Family First
Champion Award.
September 5, 2007
ORP Deputy Chairman, Kevin DeWine, was the keynote speaker at the Anderson Twp Republican Club
(Hamilton County) meeting.
I was very impressed by how Kevin was animated, motivational, and delivered a
simple message: Register to vote, Recruit good candidates, Contribute
financially, and Volunteer two hours per election cycle to a candidate.
Kevin fielded a number a tough questions from the crowd and answered them to
their satisfaction.
Afterward, Brian Clayton gave a presentation of his book, "Suppressed
History, Political Correctness and other Orthodoxies."
