In the absence of Chairman Bennett, Kay Ayres presided over the first meeting of
the newly elected and reelected members of the State Central Committee.
Bob Cupp addressed the committee
and then swore us in.
Kay Ayres briefly introduced the new members of the committee.
Dana Walch spoke on behalf of the Blackwell campaign.
Matt Carl spoke on behalf of the DeWine campaign.
He also introduced a new web site: www.BrownVotes.com.
John McClelland also introduced a new web site: www.TedEqualsTax.com.
David Payne discussed the importance of the "down ticket"
candidates.
Betty Montgomery
was our lunch time keynote speaker.
She is fully recovered from her illness and looked great.

At the regular meeting of the Clermont County Central Committee, Chairman Rudd
gave a particularly stirring speech regarding the importance of electing Ken Blackwell.
He argued very forcefully in favor of Ken Blackwell
and skillfully disarmed any detractors.
Linda Fraley
also gave a very thoughtful speech regarding her reelection campaign and
expressed support for all of our local and state candidates.
Jennifer Black spoke on behalf of Jean Schmidt
and thanked all of her supporters.
Glen Chapman and Joe Uecker
also briefly spoke.

Tom Raga was the keynote speaker at the 2nd Annual Adams County Ronald Reagan Memorial Picnic at the Fairgrounds in West Union
Out of the 120 people that attended, I had the honor and pleasure of sitting with Harty Wallingford and Lindsay
Shuba.
Everyone enjoyed music from the Bourbon Street Strutters, a grill out, and a
vintage Ronald Reagan item auction.
Also, the Party is planning a breakfast in October.

The Warren County Republican Party
Annual Beef & Corn Dinner will take place from 11:30 P.M. till 5:30 P.M. at
the Lebanon Jr. High School, located on St Rt 48 on the north side of Lebanon,
Ohio. Dinner is served buffet style. Menu: Corn on the cob, slowly cooked top
round beef, special flavored Green Beans, Cole Slaw with Tomatoes, and various
desserts. They are expecting the normal crowd of 850 to 900 persons.
