Issue 1
– This Judicial Retirement Age Constitutional Amendment increases the maximum
age for assuming elected or appointed judicial office from 70 to 75. This would
allow the ultra-liberal Justice Pfeifer to run for re-election. That alone is
enough for me to vote "NO."
State Issue 2 - Vote YES to
support taxpayers, reasonable reforms, and fairness.
The Ohio Republican Party has endorsed a “YES” vote.

Beckerisms
I
saw a news report that Israel agreed to trade 1,027 Palestinian prisoners for
one Israeli prisoner. Does this mean that the Palestinians believe that an
Israeli is worth more than a thousand times that of a Palestinian?
Many good things have been said about Carl Lindner. They are all true and more.
He owned Provident Bank while I worked there. He endorsed my candidacy for
State Central Committee. He had always been loyal to Christian and conservative
causes. And he was very generous with his time and money. His passing is certainly
a loss for humanity.
I’m still trying to figure out the Occupy Wall Street people. Do they not want
to repay student loans that they had voluntarily accepted and previously agreed
to repay? Are they opposed to capitalism and all of the products produced by
capitalism including the electronic equipment that they are using to protest
capitalism? Do they want to take the assets away from the people who have
earned them and give them to the people who have not? Are they mostly
anarchists or socialists? I don’t suppose it matters. Anarchy always leads to
tyranny.
Ohio is now planning two 2012 primaries. I was wondering why the legislature
didn’t simply move all of the elections to June. Being as the Democrats are
intent on creating chaos, the June primary is subject to change again. It
therefore makes sense to continue to keep the March primary for the offices not
subject to continued referendum by the Democrats.

More than 100 people attended a West Clermont candidates' debate at the
Eastgate Holiday Inn. All candidates did well and got their messages across. As
expected, candidate responses ranged from good, to controversial, to bad. Which
was which was obviously depended on the individual perspective of the audience
member.
October

Bob
Galbrath presented SB5 for EmpowerU at the Union Twp Civic Center. Barb Wiedenbein
was the only other elected official to attend. Channel 12 news was there as

(Clermont County) Tea Party meeting. They spoke on free market healthcare

Redistricting, reapportionment, and state ballot issues 2 and 3 were discussed
at the State Central Committee meeting in Columbus. Kevin DeWine talked about
how candidates must inspire the voters and the Ohio GOP's job is to provide
support services. He also outlined "5-points on the Path to Victory."
We endorsed Justice Cupp and Justice O'Donnell for re-election to the Ohio
Supreme Court. We also endorsed Judge Sharon Kennedy to run for the Ohio
Supreme Court seat currently held by Democrat Justice McGee-Brown. Senator
Portman and Congressman Stivers addressed the committee.
The allocation of delegates in presidential primary elections has always been
"winner take all" in Ohio. The RNC prompted us change the allocation
to a formula based on congressional districts.
September
28, 2011
The
following description was sent to me:
About 70 people, including Republican State Committeeman John Becker, attended the event “Senate Bill 5 and its’ effect on local governments” in Colerain Township. State Senator Shannon Jones was the headliner and she talked about how the legislation was developed and how it could save so many of our municipalities from financial disaster. State Representative Lou Blessing was on hand to congratulate Shannon on her hard work and to thank her for her leadership.
September 27, 2011
Mark Lowry was
the featured speaker at the Healthy Beginnings Banquet at The Savannah Center
