State Ballot Issues
State Issue 1 – This Judicial Retirement Age Constitutional Amendment increases the maximum age for assuming elected or appointed judicial office from 70 to 75. This would allow the ultra-liberal Justice Pfeifer to run for re-election. That alone is enough for me to vote "NO."
State Issue 2 - Vote YES to support taxpayers, reasonable reforms, and fairness.
The Ohio Republican Party has endorsed a “YES” vote.
Yes on Issue 2 Commercial and this commercial.
Anyone willing to take a public role in support of Issue 2 should reach out to Dave Luketic at
dave.luketic@gmail.com. Also go to www.BetterOhio.org and Get the Facts
State Issue 3 - Health Care Freedom Act Constitutional Amendment
The Ohio Republican Party has endorsed a “YES” vote.

Beckerisms
I saw a news report that Israel agreed to trade 1,027 Palestinian prisoners for one Israeli prisoner. Does this mean that the Palestinians believe that an Israeli is worth more than a thousand times that of a Palestinian?

Many good things have been said about Carl Lindner. They are all true and more. He owned Provident Bank while I worked there. He endorsed my candidacy for State Central Committee. He had always been loyal to Christian and conservative causes. And he was very generous with his time and money. His passing is certainly a loss for humanity.

I’m still trying to figure out the Occupy Wall Street people. Do they not want to repay student loans that they had voluntarily accepted and previously agreed to repay? Are they opposed to capitalism and all of the products produced by capitalism including the electronic equipment that they are using to protest capitalism? Do they want to take the assets away from the people who have earned them and give them to the people who have not? Are they mostly anarchists or socialists? I don’t suppose it matters. Anarchy always leads to tyranny.

Ohio is now planning two 2012 primaries. I was wondering why the legislature didn’t simply move all of the elections to June. Being as the Democrats are intent on creating chaos, the June primary is subject to change again. It therefore makes sense to continue to keep the March primary for the offices not subject to continued referendum by the Democrats.

The 2012 Primary Election is 5 months away and only 3 months until early voting. I’ve raised more than $24,000 and expanded my donor base to 285 people in five different states! Donation size has ranged from $5 to $1,000. All contributions have been from individuals only. You could donate for FREE! We also endorsed Judge Sharon Kennedy to run for the Ohio Supreme Court seat currently held by Democrat Justice McGee-Brown. Senator Portman and Congressman Stivers addressed the committee.
The allocation of delegates in presidential primary elections has always been "winner take all" in Ohio. The RNC prompted us change the allocation to a formula based on congressional districts.

About 70 people, including Republican State Committeeman John Becker, attended the event “Senate Bill 5 and its’ effect on local governments” in Colerain Township.
