Dear Editor:

Although I am strongly in favor of lower taxes and smaller government, I am not against all taxes all the time for any reason. After studying the West Clermont School District’s financials, it is my opinion that they have astutely managed public funds and maintained superior academic performance.

It is also my opinion that the tax levy that they have chosen to offer to the public skillfully threads the needle between the needs of the School District and the wherewithal of the taxpayers. Therefore, I have concluded that the West Clermont tax levy is worthy of public support.
